Zoo

We decided to get a zoo pass this year and I am SO glad we did.  The Columbus zoo is awesome and I go ALL the time with the girls.  Even though it is about a half hour away, we often go when it opens in the morning, spend an hour or two there and then go home by the time the crowds and heat come.  This one particular day, the animals were all very active and the crowds were slim to none.  Perfect.

Pretty sure this bear pacing back and forth following Lucy wanted to eat her for breakfast.

 Every time we go to the zoo now, Lucy insists on getting her picture taken with the gorilla.  She runs over, sits on his hand and says "mom! picture!"

 This monkey guy loved Lucy and sat and played with her through the window for a long time.  Lucy loved it.  He would be sitting down and then just jump up and hit the glass and Lucy would crack up!

 She even tried to kiss him through the glass (yuck).
