Grandma Nae and Grandpa's Easter visit

We were so lucky to have Nae Nae and Grandpa visit during Easter this year.  They came out so that Ryan and his dad could go to March Madness with a bunch of cousins, but that is a whole post in and of itself.  Lucy put grandma right to work playing with princesses and play food.
Took a quick trip to Easton and spent some time browsing Field & Stream.
Dinner at Cheesecake Factory.
Reading a new bedtime book with Grandpa- Green Eggs & Ham... poor Claire got a little squished. ;) A couple days later, Lucy was eating something she didn't think he would like and exclaimed "Hey! I like it, Sam I am!"
What's Easter without dying eggs?  Lucy and Claire both had fun, but Claire was especially amazed by the whole process and loved it! Ryan and his dad were at March Madness for this activity.
Thankfully March Madness finals were in Indianapolis, only 2.5 hours away, so Ryan and Mark were able to come home in between games for Easter Sunday.
A little break to snuggle with Nae Nae.
And here are a million pictures of the girls but I love all of the different expressions so I am including them all.
These pictures of Lucy dancing all funny crack me up.  They are SO her right now.
After all of the Easter and March Madness stuff, we went to Cosi.  Lucy obviously had fun showing Nae Nae her favorite things to see there.
We all took a trip to the U.S. Air Force Museum in Dayton, which was so fun and cool!  And free.  We went thinking we would walk through and see it in a hour or so, but ended up spending three whole hours there and still felt little rushed by the end because the kids were starting to get a little too antsy!
We were deprived of good treats, as you can see. :)
Took a visit to the Hayden Run Falls.  This is the perfect activity to do with visitors because it is a short but pretty little walk in to see the falls.
Unfortunately the Whit's frozen custard shop by the falls was closed permanently, so we went to Tom and Chee's on our way home for grilled cheese donuts.
Yep, more food pictures.  Here we were eating at The Melt where we all ordered fancy grilled cheese sandwiches and split them 4 ways so we got to try 4 different kinds.  Fun experience!
And don't worry, we still made it out to another Whit's Frozen Custard.  The girls LOVE the smiley faces they get on the kid cups,
I think we were looking at grills or something here, but grandma sure made a boring Home Depot trip way more fun, as you can tell by the pictures.
We had a few hours to kill before heading to drop of grandma and grandpa at the airport, so we went to the Columbus Zoo and it did not disappoint!  Beautiful day and good to get some fresh air and use those last few hours for something fun!
