Lucy was given a conference packet in primary that was supposed to keep them busy during conference- like coloring the ties like the speakers and looking for keywords that were said in talks. Well, she was dying to color it as soon as conference started and literally a few quick scribbles on each page and not even 30 seconds later she declared "I'm done!" haha. And that was that.
We took these kiddliwinks to get their flu shots (and yay that they all got the mist!) and followed it up with a stop at Coldstone afterwards.
Claire loves being pushed around in this little car, and in case you couldn't tell, she also loves the color pink, and her cow girl boots, and her blank, and her purse. :)
Another day of Lucy pulling Claire around the yard in the sled. They love this, which is great because Lucy has more stamina for it than I do!
Sweet little post-nap Claire Bear.
These two have some really great moments sometimes. Lucy always loves to "hold baby Claire" even though she's not so much a baby on her lap anymore. Claire also loved it though and anytime we ask her if Lucy can hold her, she immediately says yes and comes on over.
Uncle Kevin came by for a few days to take a test for med school that only had a spot available to take it in Columbus. The girls loved having him here and and soaking in some super fun Uncle Kevin time!
Once again, Claire's fashion sense...
These three amigos had so much fun just playing in our huge suitcase for a while.
I've said it a million times but I seriously love our neighborhood! Look at this fun bunch of kids! They all get along so well, and so do all of their moms!
We had lunch after preschool one day at Chick-fil-A and there happened to be a group of firefighters there. They were so great with the curious kids and gave them all these fire hats as we all left and made the lights on their SUV go on and off. Totally made their day!
When Uncle Kevin visited, he brought a bunch of dress up clothes and jewelry that they could no longer use around their house. Rest assured, they are getting good use here at our home! Claire wanted to put all of it on at once!
Lucy and Claire love to look through our Shutterfly picture books and see themselves. One day I realized they were both together in their favorite little reading nook looking through all the pictures!
Lucy read "Pete the Cat" in school and it's all about a cat that goes walking around town and steps in different colored paint and gets it everywhere (I think?). Anyway, they got to have a day in school where they stepped in paint and walked all over paper and stuff. For a while after that, Lucy was asking to "paint with her feet." So I looked up some pinterest crafts that used handprints and footprints and the girls had so much fun making random halloween things like monsters and pumpkins and bats.
We don't go to Easton too much but my girls never seem to forget that there are these huge legs/feet outside of Max & Erma's restaurant (even though we've never eaten there) and they always beg to go sit on them for a few minutes. Whatever makes them happy!
Great Aunt Wanda always sends fun/fancy cards at the holidays. Well this halloween's cards included awesome face masks- and the pumpkin ones that Claire's wearing even lit up! They were so fun!
The highlight of Lucy's day is checking the mail- and it's like Christmas morning when she actually gets something! This was a particularly fun mail checking day because both Lucy and Claire got something in the mail!
Every night before bed, the girls take their gummy vitamins and then line up at the entrance to the living room from the kitchen. Ryan stands at the other side of the living room facing the girls with either the big Sofia or Minnie Mouse stuffed doll and excitedly says "on your marks! Get set! GO!" and they take off towards Ryan and give Minnie or Sofia a high five, and keep running right past him in a race up to the bathroom. It's the best way to get these girls upstairs without them throwing a big fit that it's bath/bed time.
